I will start reading a book per week as of June 11. I though of maybe doing a few chapters/pages a day over a longer time span, but I didn't think it would work. The books have a habit of making you want to keep reading even if you want to stop and i just don't have that self control.

I also though the marathon reading would be pushing things. I can do it in the winter when there is not much to do outside and you jsut wantto stay wrapped up in blanket reading, but with it being summer, I doubt I could sit there and sweat doing nothing but reading. Plus my eyes would probably shot by the time Hallows gets delivered.

So the book per week is a good middle ground to take for me.

But, what about the rest of you and why?

I'll keep that in mind next time I make a poll like this Dij. Jeez, always has to be one person who isn't happy with the options given. lol

Out of curiousity though, do you find you pick up more listening to the CDs than you do actually reading the books or is it more of a matter of convenience for you?

I know it swings back and forth for me. It depends on the topic. Sometimes I learn more or think about more things if I listen to something and other times its better that I actually see the words in front of me.

I do pick up some, but it is more of a matter of convenience, and Jim Dale does them so well.

When I read the books, I write notes, and highlight things - you should see them! It is why I always buy an extra - one to keep clean and the other to tear apart. lol. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
