Personally, I would love to see Harry pull off a nice little hex as payback for all the mistreatment he got for living there until that point.

A few well placed Levicorpus spells, or Bat-Bogey hexes would do nicely I think. That's what I would like to see happen anyways.

As for what Jo will actually make Harry do is another question. I have a feeling she may just have Harry turn the other cheek and leave without a fuss.

I'm going with Other, because I believe that the moment Harry comes of age, he'll be on the run, and the Dursley's will be secondary.

In theory, the moment he turns 17, Voldy can apparate into Number 4... Now, I'm imagining that the Order may provide escort or be watching.

I also think this will be the moment that Petunia shows that she actually cares about Harry, and can do some rudinmentary magic.

I know I know... JKR has said that Petunia is not a squib... But a person can't be a squib if they don't have magical parents, can they?

If we treat having magical abilities the same as any other genetic trait, it could be possible that even though Lily and Petunia's parents weren't magical, it doesn't mean there wasn't a witch or wizard somewhere in there family a couple generations or more prior.

So potentially there could be a generation or two of squibs before the "magic gene" turns up again in the family.

Well harry should destroy their garden. Apart from that I think that Harry will in loyalty to dumbledore leave without a word. After all they did look after him even if they were negligent for all those years. I think that maybe some sort of anti apparation charm could be put on the house.
It would be funny if V is standing outside the house waiting for harry to come outside I can picture it now "oh harry..harry!...come out and playyyy"
Nah but seriously i doubt V would go straight after Harry. There will be people from the order, they cant just leave him. hahaha as a last way to anger the Dursleys i think all the neighbours should see Harry being escorted away by a bunch of wizards dressed like muggles, that would be classic.

This makes me wonder. Voldemort has always sent someone to get Harry, but now that he is in full form I do wonder if he will go after Harry himself, though it would leave him a target for other wizards I doubt if he'd worry about it since he is so powerful. It would make for a different twist to have Voldemort stalk Harry himself.

It is quite established that Harry hates living with the Dursleys. But he now knows why this had to be, in order for his safety. Even though they never treated him well, I think deep down Harry will come to be grateful that they took him in. Jo hinted that there are still secrets about Petunia not known to us, they will probably come up in this book. We have already seen some sort of bond between the two of them.

For closure there will be a final scene between the Duirsleys and Harry, and I think he will do something nice for them... As has been stated before, Harry is full of love, revenge is not Harry's true nature, besides he has more important things to do. If he does something nice for them, it could make them feel even worse than if he tries to get revenge. Not that it would be his reason to do the good deed.

I think that he will leave quietly and - as it was stated - Petunia will show her true feelings toward Harry. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) As for V, I don't think he will go after Harry right away. Someone once said to Harry that V operates in secret and I don't think he's going to be any different. Personally, I hope that Harry will go back to Godric's Hollow at least once. It might even bring him flashbacks(hopefully, good ones)of his past.

But there wouldn't be much to remember, being less than a year old.

Harry will probably leave the Dursley's the night before he turns 17. The order won't give Voldy that kind of chance.

I don't think he will stay until his birthday. He will leave quietly 2 or 3 weeks before. As was stated in HBP, "it will only be a short stop" or something along those lines in the last chapter. And I don't think Harry will get his revenge from the Dursleys, because though we all would like Harry to turn Dudley into a real pig, the very difference between Harry and Voldemort is that HArry does not torture and do not take pleasure to humiliate others nor does he wants to make his power acknowledged.

Harry taking revenge on the Dursleys just would be out of character. The Dursley's were mean to Harry, but I think Harry will let by gones be by gones. And I also think if anyone tried to hurt them he'd come to their rescue. Well, that may be pushing it just a tad. lol

I don't think he'll torture any of the Dursley's or anything, but I wouldn't mind seeing him doing something to tick them off a little bit and this quote helps, lol:

Well he kinda did when Dudley was put in the snake pit at the zoo. But then again he really didn't know what was going on.

Yeah, I don't think his main priority will be getting even with the Dursleys. I think that, as soon as he can, he will set out to find and destroy the Horcruxes.

IF he did do something to the Dursleys it would be something little and unharmful. Because as Baty says otherwise it would be out of character.

So I'm hopeing he just does something little...something sneaky.

A little sneaky would be nice. Like at the end when Ginny and Harry go to visit they play a joke on them. Especially Vernon, he has always been a jerk to Harry.
