Pardon me everyone but did you all catch the news on Mugglenet where they said that some reporter from the Sun was offered a copy of the HBP for 50,000 lbs. He refused and tried to grab the book and the two guys who had the book SHOT at him. This was this past Thursday. Apparently JK has issued obtained a blanket injunction against anyone who obtains a copy of the book illegally. :(

...sorry...that's what's up GriffindorDrew...

**Hmm, wonders if doctorpak checks the news on Harry Potter's Page. . .**

Yes, quite the story, and very sad, actually.

check the link out! the producer has such good things to say about Dan...like he can mould himself into any character and stuff...but he's only done HP still! how does the producer know that he can mould himself into any character? and filming hasn't even started. how can he possibly know about what roles dan is capable of playing?
i'd say dan got the part just because of his stardom and these people wanted to ensure that their movie ran well..and with dan...it is quite possible, since the story sounds quite good. even small children will want to see the film, just for dan. so that's what they are trying...to get in more audience and therefore, more money.
other than that, i can't see why they have cast dan for what seems to be a demanding role, and why the producer is gushing over it!

oh man! i looked up at the screen just now! i had no idea that i had made such a long post! lol!
just wanted to say whatever i said!

Dan has done *some* acting before. Tailor of Panama (2001) and David Copperfield (1999). I didn't see either of them so I have no idea how good he was, but he has acted before.

As for the producer picking him because of his popularity? Very good possibility.

i'm not anti-dan or anything. i love dan as harry and can't think of anyone else in the role. and i whole-heartedly agree that dan has been steadily improving from PS/SS and his performance in POA was in fact very good. i loved his acting in POA. i didn't complain one bit. what i'm trying to say is that, the role in december boys seems to deman da lot from the actor and i'm doubtful if dan is capable of giving so much.

btw, baty, i knew that dan had done tailor of panama and david copperfield. but he was too young then. they wouldn't have asked much of him then too. i'm sure. but i haven't watched them, so i don't know.

hehe rwr, you know how i love to say what everyone thinks. :P

I've been working Sriv on the coast hence why i'm not around so much. But i'm having fun. It was just the story of those two thugs which reminded me about HBP release date (i know you're thinking "HOW CAN YOU FORGET?") and i came for the latest updates.

Surely now we should start concentrating on theories for book 7? What'll be the name? Who will die? Who will live? SO many questions..
forget book 6, i want 7!!!

j/k of course :D

Indeed, hence why when my copy arrives, the first visit to this page will be ONLY after i've finished the book. Then i can read theories on here, observation points, mysteries and hddien plots. Then on the second read, it'll be a little more interesting.

However nothing beats the uncovering of a plot (and especially those of HP) when reading it first-time round.
