I hope this is the place for this... or maybe we need another forum for post-epilogue theories.

I rather suspect McGonagal is the new Headmistress. After all, she was the Deputy Headmistress whenever Dumbledore was away before -- except when Umbridge was appointed by the Ministry to fill the post.
