I don't know, I think it would be pretty cool if she wrote about the kid's life at Hogwarts, or Harry's job. But I don't know, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I read somewhere that JKR is going to write an encyclopedia on Harry Potter or something like that.

Yes, JK did say she was going to write a book like an encyclopedia to explain characters that she didn't go into deep in the book.

Yep, JKR is set to write an Encyclopedia after a well earned break. Whilst she hasn't ruled out writing HP related books, she is working on some other novels at the moment.

Good Question. I believe she should continue.
DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE LAST BOOK! THIS IS A SPOILER!!! Maybe she should write about Albus Severus, James and Lily. (Harry's children) About what life is like for them. How they cope in Hogwarts, etc etc. That would be great. Or she could write about Ron and Hermione's children Hugo and Rosie, how they also cope in Hogwarts, etc etc. I believe she should have given more information on their lives at the end of the last book, but it is of course up to JK Rowlin. Maybe she should change to something different than magic. Well, that's my opinion... Go JK Rowling Go!! Don't get your hopes up. For one she's currently writing two non-potterverse books and then the Encyclopedia.
But, JKR has made it pretty clear that she won't be writing any more HP books, if ever, for quite some time to come. I think the quote was something along the lines of "I won't say never but.." However she also said that she would consider writing more books if the profits went to charity, along the lines of Fantastic Beasts. |

I don't think she will come out with any more Harry Potter books for a long while. And I don't think that she really means to write any more story type (ie: not encyclopedia, dictionary, etc.) Harry Potter books.
But I think maybe like 10 years from now Jo might miss writing in the wizarding world and pick it up again. Although I don't think they would really be Harry Potter, he would be to old. |

yeah i heard she was doing an encyclopedia, but not for awhile...but shes calling it like the scotish book or something like that. im not sure i just deffenitly hope she writes it...but after all the press this is getting i dont know how shes not going to be able to write it!

You know i think JK did such an amazing job with these books, I would like to see her write something new. You know, see what else her mind could come up with. Whole new worlds for us to dive into. I mean, I've been reading HP for ten years now.

Got this idea of an other thread but i think it would be a great idea for her to write a book about al the Maurauders map gang when they where at school James Sirius Lupin the traitor pettigrew, write about there schemes and getting in trouble at school there rivalry with Snape Quidditch matches etc. Write it from James's point of veiw this would Show the similarites between the two i think it would be a quite fun read.

I think I would have issues with any other HP spin-off, I'd find myself saying "But it's just not Harry Potter!" I don't know, personally I would love to see what her writing is like outside of HP. Something completly different and new. I'd like to see how versatile she is. |

I would like to see her write a book about James and Sirius and Lupin when they were at Hogwarts, or a continuation of the Harry Potter books with one of Harry's sons are the focal point.
I just hate to see it all end. |

How cool would it be if she wrote another series that was equally as good as Harry Potter, and created as much of a buzz that Harry Potter has, a totally new world for us to delve into and enjoy.
