Getting tired of the mounting hostilities between each other, and seeing now that it would be a 5 on 2 duel, Dumbledore thought that it would be wise to intervene then. Moving his wand in a complex combination of sweeping, and twirling, a small silver bubble appaered outof thin air. It floated over between the two hostile parties, shrunk to about half it's size, and then with a huge bang, expanded rapidly forcing eveyone away from each other, and Tom and the girl flew so far, they ended up going into the lake, only to be thrown back out by the giuant squid. Meanwhile, Ron Hermione Harry, James, and Lily all went flying away from Tom, landing on their backs, in a mess and tangle of limbs. The bubble popped, letting out a sharp cracking noise to announce that ir had popped. Dumbledore, very pleased with the way one of his invented spells had worked, stood there, watching the scene to see what would happen next. Obviously they probably thought the other one did it. Hoping to avoid a fight, he launched on small red sparck out of the tip of his wand.

Meanwhile...


Struggling to untangle himself from Hermione's arm, Lily's leg, and someone else's arm, Ron slowly got to his feet, and looked around for the source of the conjurer. That was a pretty advanced peoce of magic, nothing he had ever seen before. There was no way Harry or Tom could have conjured something that stron, there was no way. Maybe they were neing watched, it had felt like it a minute ago, before they were bombarded by an invisible wall of what felt like compressed air. Then he saw it, a little red sparck come from nowhere. looking for his wand, he looked around, and saw it laying a couple feet away by James's left foot, still jammed in a mess of human limbs. He appeared to have been knocked out, although everyone else was starting to stir. He grabbed his wand, and pointed to where he saw the red spark.

Harry sat by his Dad. "Da-James, are you hurt"? he asked. Meanwhole Tom was getting out fo the lake.
"Think it's funny to cast a spell like that Riddle?"

Kayla glared at Herry. Lily turned to him also glaring.
"Who do you think you are?" Lily spat angerily at him. "You're just like him," She pointed at James. "A puffed up 'I'm so amazing Quiditch player'. Well I have news for you, you're not that special, so back off." She pushed Harry out of her way and went to stand by Kayla and Tom.
Kayla smiled at her. "I couldn't have put it better myself."

Tom shook his head. "You all are ridiculous," he said, lowering his wand, "I wouldn't have dreamt of harming your 'family,' was it?"
James growled and pushed Harry away. "Family?" he spat, "I've never seen you in my life." He hurried after Lily, but she glared at him viciously.
"It's alright," Tom said to her, "He means no harm. To us at least."

Harry hadn't wished it to end this way, no. He stared at them all for a moment. Was this really happening? his family, going to there killers side. He felt a tear well up in his eye. All he had ever wanted was for his family to love him, even though they were his age. It had really hurt when Lily (his mother) had pushed him away, like he was nothing.
"Fine..you caught me". He had to tell the truth now, every eye was on him, expecting a big speach. But he wasn't sure he could do a big speach. "You want to know the reason why I know all your names, why I know everything you will do...why I know you-" he indicated to his father and mother-" are my parents?"

James suppressed a smile, failing dismaly. "I'm your daddy, am I?" He bit his lip to fight back a pleased laugh. He glanced at Lily. "And you're his mum... awkward?" But the grin plastered across his face suggested otherwise. He slipped his arm into his and kissed her cheek swiftly. "Looks like I do succeed after all, eh, Lily Potter?"

Lily shoved James to the ground. She rounded on Harry. "Well, thanks for the warning! I won't make that mistake, now!"

Harry yelped."No! you have too! I mean, I'll never be born if you dont..."

"I guess that's the only benefit of you hating me forever," James laughed humorlessly.

Lily ignored Harry and James. She stepped away from them, but stopped suddenly as a thought accoured to her. "Wait, we still don't know why we're the only people at Hogwarts at the moment." She said to all of them.

Tom glanced around. "I think we're all here for a reason. Perhaps we're connected somehow, though-" He paused, eyeing each of them in turn with obvious disdain, "I couldn't say how."
"You think we're here to solve something?" James asked, somewhat sarcastically.

Lily smiled at James in disbelief, "You might be right James." She said, impressed against her will.

As Dumbledore watched everyone shooting retorts, and arguing with each other, he lifted his Dissallusionment Charm, conjured a chair from nowhere, and sat and watched the fight in front of him. His wand at the ready should the fight escalate again.

James nodded vigorously. "Yup," he said.

"Wow James, that was pretty smart." she grinned again.

"You must be rubbing off on me," he said, shrugging, "But, you know; I've been known to say some wise things from time to time."

Kayla spotted Dumbledore watching them. She pulled Tom aside, whispering. "Tom, don't look over, but Dumbledore is watching us. This is probably some of his interference, what should we do?"

Oh yes, Dumbledore had been spotted. He watched as one of the people pulled Tom over to them and whisper into his ear. This could get interesting.

Tom smiled reasuringly. "It's alright, my love, he can't hurt us. He is headmaster, after all."

"Yes, but his interference is hurtful enough."
