Not that this is an important topic, but it occurs to me that we didn't find out the fate of Crookshanks.
I wondered whether he was sent along with Hermione's parents, but couldn't remember a reference to him. Might not have been a good idea to send a part Kneazle off with her parents though, anyway, since muggles with a magical creature might draw attention from the Australian magical authorities... And while we're at it, what about Trevor! I always thought there'd be some great fate for the oft-escaping toad, but not a croak... And where was Pig? I bet Newt knows... I never gave thought to what happened to Crookshanks or Trevor, good catch.
Hopefully JK, if she ever writes that book, will say what happened to them.. |

I wondered that as well! I assume Pigwidgeon stayed at the Weasley's and subsequently was taken along when they went into hiding. Trevor, assumedly stuck with Neville during his seventh year at Hogwart...but NO Crookshanks, he's even mentioned in DH when they need to get through the whomping Willow but no solid explanation is given to where he is. I like to think the stayed with the Wealey's or was given to Hermione's parents...I know he was half Kneazle but still, I liked him and I hope he's not dead or anything like Hedwig ( RIP).

I would have thought he'd stayed at the Burrow with the Weasleys, chasing knomes all day!

i assume pig and crookshanks are at the burrow.
pig definitely is because when mrs weasley asks harry for hedwig she mentions taking him up yo pig..i think. |

There was always something odd about that cat. She seemed more attached to Sirius than she did to Hermione. I think she went looking for Sirius.
