I feel a bit sorry poor Hufflepuf. They are like "the rest" not very talented, although we've seen people like neville, crabbe or goyle with almost any magical skill in supposed great wizard houses

Cedric was an Ultra-Cool Hogwarts Champion and fell at the sneaky and dastardly hands of ill-begotten fiends.



That being said... I took the sorting test at another site and they put me in SLYTHERIN.

.......after regaining consciousness and picking myself up off the floor I retook the test and THIS TIME THE COMPUTER GOT IT RIGHT and put me in Hufflepuff!

Well, I am not a moderator but as a member I think this topic had been started earlier and that it is a repitition of it.

Funnily enough Christy, I was in the process of cleaning out the older thread to merge the two when you posted that. But the topics are now merged so now we don't have repeated topics anymore.

For those interested, I've done a "what house are you in" test, which I thought was really good:

Now, my result was actually (out of 100):
89 Hufflepuff
86 Gyffindor
69 Ravenclaw
16 Slytherin

So even though I didn't get Gyffindor (which is probably the house I feel most akin to and would enjoy being in the most..), I liked the test, why???

Well, it's VERY different to most, no, ALL that I've done before. It was developed by psychologists and takes age and race into account. Also, I think from the questions asked it's likely to be more accurate than other tests. It actually asks about your personality (similar to the "Big Five" test on the site, http://www.personalitylab.org/tests/ccq_self.htm), instead of asking silly questions like: What pet would you chose? and What's your favourite colour? Also, it's fairly comprehensive and scores you for each house, instead of just telling you which one you're in.

So then, if I truly think I'm a Gyffindor and if I think the test is really accurate, why did I get placed in Hufflepuff?? Well, my opinion is that a large part of what house you get sorted into rests on what houses you don't want to be in and what houses you do want to be in.. .. the test doesn't really ask about this! Anyway, my result for Gyffindor was still high!

I've done that thrice before...once Gryffindor, once Ravenclaw and once Hufflepuff! I have no idea why it keeps changing! I don't alter my answers at all.

Are you sure you didn't alter your answers??? I've done it a few times and when I don't alter my answers I get the same results.. that's strange.


I have nothing against Ravenclaw but nope, sorry, I'm definately not with you there! I couldn't stand being couped up in the library all day! Need adventure of more than the mental sort!

Come on...Ravies aren't all book-worms! They do a lot more than that!

I still think they'd spend the majority of their time studying.. even when they've done their work for class. I think they'd probably go to the library to learn about things for leisure! I can understand that.. It's not uncommon that I'll borrow out books on interesting subjects for my leisure - but I get bored of it after a few days!

you know what, i think im a hufflepuff too i mean ALL my friends say im ravenclaw but like 91% of all the tests i take say im in hufflepuff so so im kind of confused but i think im in Hufflepuff...

i'm usually placed in hufflepuff on most sites, but i find that i'm clever (like ravenclaws) and i can also be very mischievous and mean if stirred up(like slytherin) i seem to posses traits found in all houses except gryffindor. can anyone help me out??

Well.. pick the one you'd like to be in most.. the one you think you'd enjoy the most I guess. I mean, I've got Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff traits but I think I'd be bored and searching for more adventure in Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Therefore, I chose Gryffindor. Hope this helps a little.
