Oh.... ok never mind i get it!!!

It's the beginning of Tom, Belatrix, McNair, and Lestrange's 6th year. The Chamber of Secrets were opened the previous year and students are still coming up with insane rumors about Hagrid. Malfoy is a first year at this time. So... the sorting cerimony...

Tom- How is it that the first years can get smaller every year?

OoC:Well, sinceI don't know anyone else from 50 years ago, I will make up a new character. Hmmm...okay, her name will be,um, Cassandra. She's in the 6th year as well

Cassandra: Oh, I just love it at Hogwarts! Hey..check out Tom Riddle.

OoC:Okay, I don't know what to put next, so somebody else post.!*in undertone*yeah, that's it.LOL

Tom overhears Cassandra and glances at her momentarly, his heart skipping a beat...

Tom: Hi Cassandra. Have a nice summer? (Even to him he knew it sounded stupid)

Cassandra: Well, not really. My grandpa died. Oh by the way, can you call me Cassy?

"I'm sorry to hear it, Cassy," he said, enjoying the thrill of saying her name, "My father passed away as well." He thought it best not to mention how... or to include his grandparents in the matter... or that his uncle was now in Azkaban in his stead... it just didn't seem necisarry...

"Really? My dad died when I was four."said Cassy.

Tom wondered if she was challenging him. "That's too bad." He felt he had to prove something to this girl. "I know what it's like growing up missing a parent. My mother died when I was born and her father as well." He only hoped that she didn't see his happiness as he spoke.

"Okay, can we stop talking about deaths, please? It makes me depressed."said Cassy.

"I'm sorry," he said gently. He thought of a way to change the subject. "But we don't have to worry about that kind of thing here at Hogwarts now that the heir of Salazar Slytherin is gone." He couldn't help feeling a surge of self-satisfaction.

"yeah...I wonder who it was."siad Cassy thoughtfully.

Tom shrugged. "I heard that you broke up with Chris," he said, changing the subject quickly and waiting for the answer with slight anticipation.

"Yeah. He turned out to be really mean."said Cassandra.

"That's good," Tom said. "I mean," he nearly slapped himself on the head, "that's too bad. I'm sure you'll meet somebody better." 'Soon.'

Ok let's get the rules going here. Please stop the double and tripple posting. You can edit your posts. If it continues I will close down this down.

Also do not us short cuts for words. Though this may be an RPG, you are going to spell out your words unless you are emphasizing an accent. 2 is not an accent and neither is cuz.

"What do you mean that's great?"said Cassy,"But, yeah, he kinda forced me into saying yes. Did you know that he asked me?"

"He asked you what?"

"He asked me to go out with him. I said no, but he kinda forced me. I was scared to death. I just can't believe there are people out there who are so desperate to go out with someone that they have to force them to"Cassy said.

"Yes, unbelievable." Tom pretended to shift uncomfortably and he looked to the floor. Then he drew his eyes up to meet her's. "Would you ever go out with a person like," he paused, took a deep breath, and continued, "like me?"

Cassandra was shocked that he asked her out. "Well, last year I wouldn't. But..maybe. I'll have to think about it. I mean talking to you was like, talking to someone who understands me. You know what, I'll give it a shot."

Tom couldn't help smiling. But then his mind wandered to Belatrix. What would she think that he was going out with a Ravenclaw girl, when only weeks ago he broke up with her? "Alright then." He was suprised and a little scared himself that he was glad she had agreed. "Do you want to go and, uh," again he paused for the drama, "take a walk around the lake with me?"

"Sure"said Cassy. She was still thinking about the fact that she was a Ravenclaw and he was a Slytherin. "Tom, do you realize that you are a Slytrherin and I am a Ravenclaw?"

"I try not to think about it," he told her. He took her hand gently in his own. "Come," he said leading her out of the Great Hall. Tom tried hard not to notice the chatter that was following behind them.

(Lily Evans wasn't even born here 50 years ago..shes in Marauders Era..but I'm not sure what kind of Tom Riddle thing you're talking about, lol, but i'd like to join! Jus tlet me think of an OC)

"Okay, I'll come. Maybe we can talk some more."said Cassy.

They leave the Great Hall and enter the grounds of Hogwarts, the setting sun casting a deep red glow across the grounds. The moutains were slightly pink and the lake reflected an soft orange light. Yet the forbidden forest still stood as tall and black as ever. "Beautiful isn't it?" he asked softly. He put his hand around her waist as they walked farther onto the grounds.

"Yeah, It is."said Cassandra. She felt so happy.

As they reached the edge of the lake, the turned to stand in front of her, looking down into his eyes. "I really do like you Cassandra." But he knew that was a lie. Yet it didn't show in his face. He wanted her to believe that he was her's, just as Belatrix did...

"I really like you , too."She was really starting to like him.

Tom suddenly felt something he had never felt before: pity. He was sorry for leading her down this path. But why? Did he really like her back? Something told him that he did.
"So, uh." He didn't know what to say to her. There was an awkward silence...

( Well, so to make things easier...I'll name my person Katie Potter, if thats okay? She's gonna be in your year! ^^ Well..here it goes..hmm..Can Tom and Katie have a sorta....hate/love relationship? Just cause he's in Slytherin and she's in Gryffindor? I'll start now! Well not really cause you seem to have Cassandra lol)

Katie walked gracefully down the path to the lake( On the othe rside of the lake where Tom and Cassy are) with a grin plastered on her face. She noticed Riddle on the other side of the lake and she frowned. Katie sat on the grass and took off her shoes and socks. She gently dipped her feet into the water and sighed deeply.

Cassandra didn't know what to say. She hadn't felt this good in forever."Tom...I haven't felt this happy since my grandpa died"

Tom noticed something moving on the other side of the lake. It looked like a student, but he didn't want to alert Cassy and ruin the moment. He leaned towards her...

Katie ran her fingers through her hair gently with her eyes shimmering with the relfection of the water with the dim sunset/sunrise. She smiled weakly and looked at her reflection in the water.

Their lips touched gently. They broke apart rather quickly. They looked around,"Ummm."said Cassy.

"What's wrong?" he asked. Then he knew who the student was...

JUst then Cassy noticed the other student. "Who is she?"

"Er," Tom stuttered, remembering the days when Katie and he had been going out. Now their relationship was slipping... "I've got to go," he told her. "I'll be back tomorrow."

(And this, my friends, is called irony, because I really hafta go!!!)

"What?"Cassy was just so confused. "Okay, well, good-bye Tom"

Katie brushed her dark brunette hair out of her hazel eyes as she looked over at the other side..seeing Tom and another girl student again. She sighed and gave them a small glare.

Cassandra decided to go see what was with that other girl, so she walked around the lake. "Hi,"she said.

Tom ran the the shade of a tree out of sight, breathing deeply. What was wrong with him? He felt so, strange, almost human, and he wouldn't stand for that. He held his breath as Cassy passed him and watched her approach Katie. He cursed. Getting the two of them together was not a good idea.

"So..um..."Cassandra's voice trailed off. She had no idea what to say.

Tom had trouble hearing what they were saying, so he inched closer: tree by tree. He could tell Katie was not happy. Although they pretended to hate each other, Tom knew that Katie still had feelings for him. Hopefully she didn't hold a grudge against Cassy for it. He chastised himself for having such human-feelings. 'I'm more than a man,' he told himself, trying to brush away his feelings, 'I'm more than a man.' But it didn't work...

"I have got to go, so um...talk to you later?"Cassy said to Katie. Then she ran to the owelry to send an owl to her mom.

(Sense Katie left... I'll be her)

After Cassy had gone, Tom walked over to Katie. "Hiya," he said casually, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
"What do you want?" she asked him angrily, staring into the lake again, though her eyes were on his reflection rather than her own.
Tom sat down next to her. "I hope you weren't-"
"No, I wasn't," she cut in rudley. She ran her fingers through the water again. "Your girlfriend wouldn't like you sitting here with me," she told him irritably.
He bit his lip. "I'm sorry," he told her, "I didn't think that you'd be here."
"I can be where ever I want to be, thanks." She started to stand, but Tom grabbed her hand. Katie looked into his eyes for a moment, but then jerked away and ran as fast as she could for the castle.
Tom thought it would be best if he left for his dormitory as well...

(Lol Sorry, I was eating and I'm multi-tasking Homework and RPing with you guys ^_^ An dlol..you're playing my char xD)

Katie ran into the castle with tears in her eyes..she didn't know what to think anymore..

Dear Mom,
I am so confused! I met this boy named Tom Riddle. I'm not sure if I like hm or not. I wish I were home, but I love it here. Oh well.

Cassy wrote the letter with a trembeling hand. It did get do lonely at Hogwarts. She didn't have a pet, and she missed her mom. She decided to go and find Tom Riddle, so she sent the letter with a school owl and went to find him.
