Hi, I am the biggest fan of H.P. I know. I also love to hike, camp, draw and all sorts of adventuring! I live in Southern California and once took a bike trip 800 miles to a place named Monterey! Last summer my friend Pam and I were hiking in the back country of Yosemite when we surprised a big brown bear! I teach 3rd grade but would like to teach college level history. (I am probably the oldest person on this site!) Recently I have come to a deeper appreciation of H.P. books! I hope to learn as much as I can about them and maybe restart the H.P. Club at my school (I have had up to 200 kids attending!) I stopped the club because of a lack of support! (The climate has not been favorable to wizards and witches lately!) Hope to get to know you all better!

It must have been so exciting to happen on that bear! But I've heard bears aren't the best when they're cranky... hope you weren't in too much danger!

There are lots of adults in this group. I am a former teacher (math and history). I am 38 and got into the HP books with my sons, but now I am slightly more of a fan than either of them!!!
