I used to live on the Coast of California and I'll tell you what. Right now, I'm kinda missing it. 
It's cold outside! *brrrrr* It could be worse though. I could be up in the Northern part of the States. 
I'm in Canada and it's freezing!! not to long ago, which is liek 2 days ago, it was -40 with wind chill**shivers** that was a cold day... anyways i wish i was lying on a warm beach right now

Well I came from 3 other boards, and let me tell you they weren't the greatest boards... The people seemed to act like 2 yr olds not knowing ANYTHING absolutely NOTHING related to Harry Potter... But this board is great!!

Okay, right then, I have been sorted on the WB site, and I am a full-fledged Gryffindor! I'm kind of new to the series, and I just finished the first book, but I should be all caught up in the next few weeks! I have a few questions for you guys:
1. Why are HP items so expensive? Namely, the Time Turner?
2. Who do you think will die in the Half-Blood Prince?
3. Who is your favorite character? (For me, it's Wood, easily!

4.WHY THE HECK do you think Wood isn't in the movies anymore? He was the best character...
5. Do any of you have massive HP collections? Like with robes and scarves and such?

We've got many topics about favorite charaters. Take a look around and you're bound to find several of them.
4) I think they took Wood out because they had no place for him in POA and I think WB figured why pay what Biggerstaff wants when they can get extras to fill in for less.

Welcome StopDropRoll! Everything what WWW said, but my favorite charcter was Sirius, Fred and George, and Ron. And I have a massive collection. I don't, however, have the robes and such yet. I'm getting that for my birthday. As well as the $45 dollar TimeTurner necklace. ( About 30 pounds maybe?)

2. I think that Lupin or this 'Mclaggen' will die, but who know JK could throw me off completly.
3. Neville! I love my little Neville. I've liked him since I read the first book, he's just so sweet and lovable.
