Hey everyone! I am new to this forum and was directed here by one of the members to introduce myself. I first got interested in HP after watching the first film and well here I am today. I have read almost everything I can get my hands on including the WWP and some books about religion and HP. Basically anything Harry! I also enjoy reading in general. Orson Scott Card being one of my favourite authors.

Hey everyone... Like most of you im in love with Harry Potter, but im kinda new to the boards ... im 15 and i love to swim and play water polo, and surf on my free time (im a water person)... Im studying photography and hope to work for National Geographic someday.... i love music, most music in general mostly rock though. Some of my favorite bands are Fall out boy, Something Corporate (couldnt tell could you? ), and The Academy Is. anyways im glad to be on this Board with you guys....

HEY! I am pretty new to the whole forum thing but I thought this would be a great way to stay up to date with all my Harry Potter news.

A little about myself:
-I am 24 years old and a Pisces( although I don't hold to all that stuff)
-I am a music teacher
-I LOVE to read (Harry Potter is one of my favorites, but I like any fantasy)
-I love movies and TV( I go see about 40 to 50 movies a year at the theater)
-I live in the US

I am so, so excited to finally find a place where people outside of my immediate family don't think I am a total whacko for loving all things Harry Potter.

well, what do you know! you guys actually do have an newbie thread! lol. i just dived into the discussions!
i'm 17 and discovered Harry when i was 13 so i basically have literally grown up WITH Harry Potter i spent most of 2001/2 with my nose in constant contact with one of the books. lol. got teased for it by people who dont understand the greatness of books.

well, great to meet you guys and to find a good forum! look forward to creating theories that are most likely wrong, but how can you not want to speculate!?!

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site. It's a great site and I'm already addicted to it, lol. Can't get enough. It's great reading everyone's opinions and theories.

Anyway, my oldest son, 13, got me addicted to Harry Potter. A friend of mine bought book 1 for him. After he read it, he insisted that I read it. And I was hooked. Of course, I had to pass the book on to my husband, who also became a Harry Potter fan. Once my 5 and 6 year old sons get older (and get better at reading, lol) I'll have them read the books as well.

I am very anxiously awaiting for HBP now. As I am the one who is going to go out and buy it, then I will be the first one to read it. Lucky for my husband and son, I'm a quick reader, lol. I am looking forward to deep discussions about book 6 both around my dinner table and here online.

Hey everyone, I'm XXXXX (Verge being a nickname). Never was a HP fan and thought it was dumb at first (like most people I know). But I saw the first two movies and decided to read POA and loved it (sorry the movie suckec). I've read 1-5 twice and finished 6 just recently.

I don't really have a lot of people aorund me that like HP as much as I do...so I hope this site will cure what ails me.

I'm 17 and from Sydney Australia.
I wish more Aussie's could use this forum because there are very few people on when I'm on.
I've never been a big dress up as a wizard, scream and shout Harry Potter fan.
But I love all the books and have read them all more than once. (Including HBP)
I really appresiate being part of this forum so I can discuss Harry Potter with out being laughed at, lol.
My friends would kill me if they knew I was here. lol. But secretly I know they love it to.
BTW: I think the mod's here are exellent, they od the job perfectly.
