I'm Telm (at least on the net I am...)
I'm 16 and from England.
I love all the Harry Potter books and I started reading them years ago when the very first book came out!
I even have a first edition copy of the first book (I intend to sell that on Ebay at some point!!)
And I love talking about myself, so I'll spare you because I'm really not that interesting.....

Normally I would say, don't sell that first edition it could be a family heirloom but seeing I'm spending the whole summer scraping together the money for Unimaversity, my feelings have changed! Welcome all newbies!

I'm a very big fan of Harry Potter.
I think the Philosophers Stone book was my fav. because it left a lot of questions and Ideas open.
I think the movies are sort of dull... but I have High Hopes for #4.
Voldemort is my all time Favorite character along with Harry.
I still think Harry should've been sorted into slytherin and joined Voldemort.

Hi I am also new around here. I have of course read all the books but this one was the first one I read where I was just dyining to know what other people thought. Seeing as I dont know anyone else really who reads the books (can you believe it!) I sought out message boards and here I landed. I'm new here.

I discovered Harry Potter thanks to the movies, then as I became fan of the movies (watching them many times a week...) , I started to read the books 2 months ago (and now I can't spend more than 1 day without reading at least few pages :)). Right now I'm in the middle of "The order of the Phoenix".

My favorite character is Severus Snape, but I also like RJ lupin, Sirus Black and the Weasleys :)

First off I'd like to welcome ALL (well almost all ) of the new posters to the boards!!!

Except for the few, and that's why I said almost all, who have been posting NASTY CRAP on the boards, we have a good group of new members.

I'm a big time HP fan, and I have read all the 6 books.

I love to make graphics, read books (especially the HP series), socialise, and most of all, to have fun!

Just found this thread so I figured I'd chime in.
I'm a 34 y.o. stay-at-home mom to three monkeys aged 9, 11, and 13. We home educate, so reading anything and everything as a family is a very big part of our everyday life.

We all love the HP books, not only for what's in them, but also for what conversations they spawn that relate to real life events and issues that everyone of us have dealt with.

I found this board because I was dying to find someone on the net that had read the books to bounce all the questions and ideas in my head with. This happened to be the first forum that was allowing comments so soon after the book release.

I am Death Eater 7.

I am obsessed with the HP books (not so much for the movies). I have read all the books 59 times. Except for the last one which I have only read 3 times in the 8 days or so it has been out.

I am a [I] little [/I] strange at times but don't let that put you off!!! I love Potter and think that TONKS is a fantastic creation! Love Lupin and Sirius too but NOT as a couple!! I have had the theory of those two rammed down my throat by a couple of nameless people so I have definate tendencys to shoot it down! lol! Okay I am rambling now! Sorry for teh nonsence, its late and I have been at work all day! I have gone a litttle mental! Roll on uni!

I'm teacup, I've been a Potter fan since... well, since the first book came out! Haha, I turned eleven that summer and was sincerely disapointed when I didn't get a letter from Hogwarts.
