Bonham Carter Goes to Pembrokeshire for Deathly Hallows Filming
|
Helena Bonham Carter, who portrays Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter films, was seen at a gas station while on her way to filming at Pembrokeshire for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The set, which includes Shell Cottage, is on the beach with large shells for the roof shingles.
One person who saw Helena at the station stated, “She looked incredibly out of place in a pair of red gloves on a sunny day. She was instantly recognisable and yet she just went in, bought some food and drink and went on her way without and any fuss or being recognised.”
Filming at Shell Cottage began today and will last until mid-May or longer.
If anyone is able to get any photos or have any reports of filming taking place, please let us know.
The first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on November 19, 2010, and the second part's release date is July 15, 2011. |

Dakota in New Moon Compared To Helena in Order of the Phoenix
|
Now that it is confirmed that Dakota Fanning will portray “Jane” in the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon, Examiner.com posted an article which predicts she will give a powerful performance in the small role of a bad vamp just like Helena Bonham Carter did in her brief part as “Bellatrix Lestrange” in Order of the Phoenix.
The article went on to compare the similarities of both “Bellatrix” and “Jane” in having small, but meaningful roles when they are introduced in the books Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer.
Helena will be seen again as "Bellatrix" in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince when it is released in theaters on July 17, 2009. New Moon will be released on November 20, 2009 in the theaters.

She was cast as Enid Blyton who wrote about the Famous Five and Malory Towers for children in Britain. The film about Ms. Blyton's life will be shown on BBC Four later this year.
