Naturally Natalia received word from Belloq Productions that Natalia Tena (Tonks) has been cast as “Rose” in a UK film titled Womb. The story is about a widow who is considering the idea of cloning her late husband. The film is scheduled to be released in 2010.

The film doesn’t have an official website yet, however there is some information on the film at IMDB. Other European actors in the cast are Eva Green (Bond movies) and Hannah Murray (Skins).

Natalia Tena: Othello, Tonks, And Music

We previously reported that Natalia Tena (Tonks) received the role of “Desdemona” in The Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Othello by William Shakespeare. Oxford Mail interviewed her since the play can be seen currently at the Oxford Playhouse. Ms. Tena was also asked about her role as “Nymphadora Tonks” in Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince (which will be released in theaters on July 17, 2009).

Natalia Tena As Desdemona in RSC’s Othello

The Stage posted a brief article on their website to announce that Natalia Tena (Tonks from Order of the Phoenix) will make her debut with the Royal Shakespeare Company in their production of Othello by William Shakespeare. She will act in the leading part of “Desdemona” during the play’s nationwide tour in the UK this spring.

Naturally Natalia posted a video of Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) singing with her new band Molotov Jukebox at the Strongrooms in London. The song is titled Physical Lexicon. It was videotaped this past October. And yes, she is playing the accordion. smile

Tena and Waylett Will Attend Collectormania Midlands

Harry Potter stars Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) and Jamie Waylett (Vincent Crabbe) have confirmed that they will be attending Collectormania Midlands at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, England. The dates for the event are Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2.

Mrs. Weasley Is Natalia Tena's Favorite Potter Character

Naturally Natalia is a fansite dedicated to the actress who portrayed “Tonks” in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Scans of Ms. Tena’s replies to fan mail have been posted to the site’s photo gallery. A recent scan is a copy of her reply to a fan who asked if Ms. Tena had read the Harry Potter books and which one is her favorite. The actress answered that she had read books 5, 6, and 7; and 7 was her favorite. The same fan also asked who her favorite character is.

My favorite character is Mrs. Weasley! She is also an amazing woman, very funny, Ms. Tena wrote.

ACED Magazine Interview with Harry Potter Stars at FL Supercon

ACED Magazine was able to get an interview with the Harry Potter stars during last month's Florida Supercon in which Natalia Tena (Tonks), Hugh Mitchell (Colin Creevey), Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan), and Danielle Tabor (Angelina Johnson) attended. Here are a few excerpts:

They spoke about how different the directors are from each other, and how it was working with them. In regards to David Yates, director of Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince, all of their comments were wholehearted and kind.

We all had to lean closer as Natalia Tena spent a few seconds whispering in imitation of David Yates, making the others laugh in agreement. "He is awesome. He's so soft spoken. You don't even know how he gets stuff done. Most other directors, like in theatre, are like, ‘Lights! What are you doing? Get him to do that!'" yells Natalia, and then bursts into laughter.

Devon adds, "He's just more laid back than all the other directors. Besides Alfonso Cuar�n (Prisoner of Azkaban), he was just real hip. He was like 'Go on, yeah. Do it. Do it.' Whereas, Dave... he would ask [everyone] on the set: What is your input, what do you want to happen in the scene? Like, if you would say to him, 'Well, if I was to do this and he was to do that,' he'll film that and then he'll try it his way. So it's nice to have your own input into the movie as well."

Tena Will Join Other Harry Potter Stars At FL SuperCon

We previously reported that Devon Murray (Seamus Finnegan) will join James and Oliver Phelps (the Weasley twins) and Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor Krum) at Florida Supercon. Now, News Blaze posted a confirmation that Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) is another star from the Harry Potter films who will be attending the convention.

Florida Supercon will take place in Weston, FL on Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25, 2008.
