According to an article in ChronicleLive, Chris Rankin, "Percy Weasley" from the Harry Potter films, will make a guest appearance at The National Theatre's New Connections Festival this weekend (Thursday, May 8 - Sunday, May 11) at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle, England.
During the weekend, nine young theater companies will perform new plays written by UK playwrights. The companies will be coming from all over the region, one from Milan, Italy was especially invited to perform in the festival.
They are from the following schools and colleges:
Newcastle College Performance Academy (Two companies) Ian Ramsey School Manor College of Technology St Joseph’s School Blyth Community College Liceo Scientifico Vitorio Veneto (part of Connections Milano, Teatro Litta, Milan, Italy) Cre8 Theatre (Theatre Royal, Newcastle’s young theatre group) Hall Garth School Newcastle College Performance Academy Shotton Hall Theatre School
