Robbie Coltrane Finished Filming Order of the Phoenix

Robbie Coltrane, who portrays Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, is currently in the US filming Cracker: A New Terror for BBC America. When speaking with Jam! Showbiz, Coltrane stated that he has just completed filming his parts in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and that it took him about ten seconds to get back into his Fitz role. Coltrane and Staunton Win OBE

Robbie Coltrane, who portrays Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, and Imelda Staunton, who is signed on for the role of Professor Umbridge for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, have both won the honor of winning the Order of the British Empire, or OBE. According to the official site, The Order of the British Empire is the order of chivalry of British democracy. Valuable service is the only criterion for the award, and the Order is now used to reward service in a wide range of useful activities. Congratulations to both!

Robbie Coltrane Unsure of Fifth Potter Movie?

Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid in the Harry Potter films), who's currently rehearsing for his role in Peter McDougall's The Brother's Suit, has stated that he may not be in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. According to the Herald, when asked if he'll be in the fifth movie, he stated, "It's open to negotiations. . . I know the answer and it's 'I don't know'. That's that." He declined to comment further, except to say that the role was a complicated one. Please realize that this is just a rumor, and these types of things have been said or heard of before by other actors.
