|
Happy Birthday, Ms. Wanamaker! Zoë Wanamaker (Madam Hooch) is 59 years old today. She was born on May 13, 1949 in New York City. After her father Sam Wanamaker, an actor, director, and producer, was blacklisted in 1952, Ms. Wanamaker’s family moved to England. Becoming a British citizen in 2000 to receive a CBE (Commander of the British Empire) from the Queen, Ms. Wanamaker still retains her American citizenship.
Although she has done quite a few television, theater, and film roles, she is currently known for her role as “Susan Harper” in the British television series My Family.
