Jason Isaacs was born June 6, 1963, in Liverpool, England. He first attended Bristol University in hopes of becoming a lawyer, but then switched to the Central School of Speech and Drama, where he found his love and gift for acting. He has a large array of acting roles, from the drag queen in “Sweet November,” to the tough evil British officer in “The Patriot,” and then on as the American soldier in “Black Hawk Down.” Those are just a few.
He is now portraying another sinister role in the Harry Potter series as Lucius Malfoy, father of Draco Malfoy, and follower of Lord Voldemort.
